The Full English records

The Full English is a digital resource bringing together many of the major folk music collections in the United Kingdom and beyond. This selection from it contains all the material in it relating to Kimber and Headington Quarry. It includes relevant material from Cecil Sharp, Maud Karpeles and others in the English Folk Dance and Song Society, for example Sharp’s transcriptions of the Headington Quarry tunes, and correspondence with Kimber and other members of the team.

For ease of browing we have categorised the records in to tunes & songs, correspondence, and notes & articles. Please use the menu on the right to browse, or for a detailed search use the box at the top right of your screen or click on a tag link below.

Note: The resources in The Full English Collection are made available by linking directly to the material held in the English Folk Dance and Song Society’s and Vaughan Williams Memorial Library’s databases. The Back To The Quarry Project is not responsible for the content of this element of the collections.
